Week of Tolerance 2016: “Tolerance is Freedom”
11 November 2016

The University of Georgia will conduct yet another Week of Tolerance in the framework of the International Day of Tolerance throughout the Week of November, through 14 – 18th.
UG will host a series of public lectures dedicated to various topics around tolerance. Attendance is free and all guest will receive a special certificate. Guests will include successful professionals.
Many interesting events and performances are planned within the Week.
UG hosted the first ever Week of Tolerance in 2014, giving way to a meaningful tradition for the sake of popularizing ideas of humanism and tolerance.

The Week of Tolerance is held under the slogan “Tolerance is Freedom!”

November 14th – Opening of Week
Place: The University of Georgia, IV building, I floor
Time: 3 pm


November 15th –
Movie
Place: The University of Georgia, IV building, #116.
Time: 6pm

November 16th – Performance from UG students
Place: The University of Georgia, IV building, Yard
Time: 1:30 pm

November 17th
Public Lecture on: “Tolerance Toward Animals”
Guest speaker: Director of Tbilisi ZOO Mr. Zurab Gurielidze
Place: The University of Georgia, IV building, conference hall #519
Time: 4pm

November 18th
Closing
Place: The University of Georgia, IV building, Yard
Time: 6pm
